Abstract:

 In order to improve the material utilization rate and reduce the enterprise cost, for an A-type car rear door outer panel, its material utilization rate of stamping was analyzed by software Autoform. Firstly, the material utilization rate was improved by optimizing the process addendum and adopting the nesting process. Secondly, the stamping formability, slip line and cost of the optimized nesting composite parts were simulated and analyzed. Finally, the actual parts stamped by the nesting process were analyzed and compared. The results show that the cost of each vehicle is reduced by 5.21 yuan, and the material utilization rate is increased to 49.9% by adjusting to the stamping process of nesting. Therefore, the correctness of the nesting process is verified by the experimental reults and the purpose of reducing cost and increasing efficiency are achieved. At the same time, it is also verified that the levels of material utilization and the difficulty of stamping process are closely related to the product design stage, which provides valuable application experience for later new car models in product design and manufacturing and a verification means for enterprises to reduce costs in manufacturing and production.
