Abstract:
A kind of integrated precision forging process of shaped case ring forgings for Waspaloy alloy with inner and outer flanges was introduced. Then, through the surface control technology of microstructure uniformity for difficult-to-deform and low-plasticity materials and the key technologies of the preparation of large shaped ring blank for Waspaloy alloy with inner and outer flanges and the integrated precision rolling of large and complex shaped ring parts for Waspaloy alloy,combined with the full process simulation,the process plan was worked out, and the parameters of forging and heat treatment were determined to produce shaped case ring forgings for Waspaloy alloy with inner and outer flanges successfully. Therefore, the formed special profiles of inner and outer diameters for shaped case ring forgings manufactured by this technology are good, the dimensions meet the usage requirements, the microstructure is uniform, and the performance indexes meet the requirements of SAE AMS 5707—2017. Meanwhile, the precious metal raw material is reduced to input, the cost is decreased, and the uniformity and the overall performance of case are improved.
