Abstract:

The structural characteristics and stamping technicality of rocker arm for automobile left seat were analyzed, and the process scheme of rocker arm for automobile left seat produced by progressive die was proposed according to the production requirements. Then, the process calculations of two important stations in progressive die, namely, flanging and bending, such as blank size, stamping force, flanging times and springback angle, were completed. Comparing two schemes of single row straight layout and single row oblique layout, the oblique layout scheme with the highest material utilization rate was selected, and the corresponding progressive die station was designed. Furthermore, the structure of the main die parts and the overall structure of the die were designed, the die assembly drawing was finished, and the working process of rocker arm progressive die was explained. The results show that the rocker arm of automobile left seat can be formed by the progressive die with punching, trimming, bending, flanging, trimming-blanking processes, and the high efficiency stamping production is achieved.
