Abstract:

 The finite element analysis model was established by simulation software Autoform, and the wrinkling of inner panel of rear door for a car at the water cut location of B pillar was restored. Through analyzing forming process of inner panel of rear door and stress state of wrinkling position, the main reason of wrinkling was found that uneven feeding and compressive stress caused by the product structure. An improved solution of controlling compressive stress by adding sunction reinforcement was proposed, which was simulated, analyzed and optimized by simulation software Autoform. Finally the best form of sunction reinforcement was obtained, and the die was modified by the solution. The test results are in agreement with the simulation results, and the wrinkling of inner panel of rear door is successfully solved. The whole process takes only fifteen days to save the manpower, the material resources and the try out time,which provides reference for similar wrinkling problems.
