Abstract:

The springback behavior of high strength steel used in automobile was investigated by experiment, and the influence of prestretching on springback of material was mainly analyzed. The specimens of HC330/590DH, HC340/590DP and HC420/780DP were prestretched respectively, and then the specimens were bended at three points after prestretching. Then, the springback angle was measured, and the strain, thinning, springback and microstructure were analyzed. The results show that for different prestretching amounts of the same material, the springback angle increases with the increase of the prestretching value. However, for the same type of high strength steel with different strengths, the springback increases with the increasing of material strength. After bending of HC340/590DP, the grain in the inner area is compressed, and the grain in the outer area is stretched. Therefore, for two materials with the same strength and different microstructures, the srpingback of DP steel is higher than that of DH steel.
