Abstract:

Based on the principle of virtual work and plane deformation assumption, a model of double drawbead restraining force (DBRF) was proposed, when the sheet metal flowed through drawbead, taking account of the influence of thickness change caused by bending effect and cyclic hardening caused by continuous bending on drawbead restraining force, the sheet thinning and combined hardening model were introduced into model calculation of bending force. Through the double drawbead restraining force test for DC04, the accuracy of established theory model was verified, and the influence of drawbead geometric parameters on DBRF was analyzed based on the experiment results. The results show that the drawbead height influences the DBRF evidently, and the DBRF increases exponentially as the drawbead height increases. And the DBRF decreases gradually in a power function as the fillet radius increases. And the DBRF model which is affected by the change of sheet thickness and cyclic hardening agrees better with the experiment data and can describe the mechanial behavior when the sheet metal flows through double drawbead.
