Abstract:

For thin walled support stamping parts, on the basis of applied research about metal-plastic deformation, its stamping process was analyzed, and support stamping parts with vertical angle of 110° and 90° were bent based on their structural features respectively. However, they appeared wrinkle heavily in the bending simulation due to their structural features with gradient fillet R and multi-angle bending. Therefore, the drawing process was applied. Based on computational analysis of pressure stress and tensile stress, and the range of blank holder force calculation values within 35-49 kN, eight drawing experiments were carried out by simulation, and the ideal curve of drawing pressure was obtained with 45 kN blank holder force. Thus, the good drawing result was acquired without wrinkle and crack. According to the related parameters of simulation analysis, the dies are designed and manufactured, and the above drawing process can produce the qualified parts.
