Abstract:

For CoCrMoW electroslag remelting ingots, the influences of holding temperatures and forging processes on forgeability were studied by forging the casting alloy CoCrMoW electroslag remelting ingots under two different holding temperatures and two different forging processes. The result shows that both surface quality and internal soundness of CoCrMoW electroslag remelting ingots are all right by whole forging at 1220 ℃ for 1 h, while the surface quality is good, but the internal soundness is bad at 1200 ℃ for 1 h. However, the forging deformation occurs after heating at 1220 ℃ for 1 h, and it cracks on the surface by sectional forging. Furthermore, the sectional forging and whole forging can be applied to small standard stock that is opened billet continually or forged after the opened billet, and the holding temperature is 1220-1240 ℃. However, the best deformation model of CoCrMoW electroslag remelting ingots is forged as a whole, and the deformation model of small standard stock can be forged as a whole or forged sectionally.
