Abstract：

The deformation of auto-body panel caused by its gravity was obtained by CAE calculation, and the accuracy of simulation was verified approximatively

by hanging a weight on the stamping part. Then, the simulation accuracy was verified by testing 2-D arc-shaped part and 3-D inner door panel, and the scanned data and die surface model optimization were aligned by the method of forced deformation. Subsequently, the mapping relationship of nodes was established by the grid mapping, and projection note coordinate values were calculated by triangle function interpolation. Furthermore, the scanned data were corrected by offsetting to obtain a new gird model of springback deformation, so the reverse compensation precision was improved.
