Abstract:

 For the defects of the bending crack, springback, deviation in the wiring patch bent part, the 

 
main reason causing the quality issue was found. A reasonable stamping process and die 
 
structure of multi station progressive die were studied thoroughly, and the corresponding 
 
measures were proposed. Therefore, two or three bending processes were used to prevent from 
 
bending crack, and the methods of pre-modifying the shapes and sizes of 
die working portion were used in order to control springback. Furthermore, the workpiece was 
 
pressed by guide board with a suppressing device pressed the work piece to avoid deviation. 
 
The results show that the forming accuracy of the wiring patch is ensured by the corresponding 
 
methods and measures, and the service life of the precision multi station progressive die is 
 
prolonged.
