Abstract:

Considering the influences of nonlinear damping, nonlinear stiffness, rolling mill structure and dynamical change of rolling force on horizontal vibration of the rolling mill when the hot rolling mill vibrated, a nonlinear horizontal vibration model of the rolling mill rolls was established. The amplitude frequency characteristics equation of the system was obtained by the multiple-scale method, and the influences of different rolling parameters on amplitude frequency characteristics of horizontal vibration were analyzed. At the same time, it was discussed the bifurcation characteristics under the nonautonomous according to the singularity theory, and the transition sets and bifurcation topology structure were obtained. Furthermore, the critical condition was obtained when the system vibrated, which provided a theoretical reference for suppressing and controlling the horizontal vibration of the rolling system.
