Abstract:

Plug shell of household appliances is of stepped cylindrical member with inner diameter(Φ9.7±0.03)mm, (Φ8.7±0.03)mm, mouth size (Φ10.8±0.05)mm and height 24.5 mm, which requires high dimensional accuracy. According to the analysis and calculation about the plug shell drawing forming process, the stamping process of continuous deep drawing was designed, and the process parameters were determined. It is then introduced the 14 stations bilateral carrier, the inside and outside circle incision, the nesting design figure with three-points take sides, die structure design characteristics and die manufacturing process. The material selection, heat treatment hardness and wire cutting process for each part were described by listing. Deep drawing experiments show that the automatic production can be realized by replacing feeding type from pull rod type. Therefore, the die structure is safe and reliable, and the forming quality is ensured.
