Abstract:

The auto-control system of 36 MN flat-container extrusion press produced by our company was analyzed and discussed. Three beam four-column pre-stressed composite frame structure and short stroke forward feed extrusion mode were adopted in 36 MN flat-container extrusion press,which could provide more favorable metal flow conditions for wide flat material and reduce extrusion pressure on the equipment. The extrusion speed, position and pressure could be controlled accurately by PLC and IPC two-way. The development trend and advanced technology of extrusion press were classically showed by the main technologies used in this flat-container 36 MN extrusion press. Through production practice, the extrusion press not only suits for manufacturing, operating and maintaining, but also can improve working efficiency and reduce cost.
