Abstract:

The mechanism of flying shearing equipment concerns the shearing quality of steel in continue mode rolling mill in China. The kinematics model of the shear mechanism for the double-crank and connected fly-shear was established. The position of the maximum shear cutting angle was identified and the calculation process of the maximum shear force was researched. The pair of scissors with trapezoidal steel plate welded assembly structure was improved and the speed of shear blades and cranks, impact shear force and shear power were calculated and analyzed. The results are positive to improve the shearing quality, to analyze the function of the shear mechanism and to design the same kind fly-shear. The improved device has been successfully applied to production.
