Abstract:

According to the roll-forging design requirements, the changing rule of roll-fogings spring section,H-shaped cross section and fist section ends was discussed. In each step change process, according to the cross-sections parameters, the roll forging die could be precisely designed, meanwhile, the reasonable billet was selected to ensure that the die cavity could be fully filled. Then, Deform-3D finite element simulation software was used to analyze the roll forging process. The simulation results coincided with the actual production results, which further validate the accuracy and reliability of the roll forging die design. The results provide theoretical guidance on the front axle roll forging die and roll forging precision design.
