Abstract:
The structure and ratio of screw center distance to L-R length of slider for press in domestic and international companies were researched. The results show that the structure of slider for press is different, so is the ratio of screw center distance to L-R length of slider for press. The non-axial load which press can support is different, so is the stiffness of slider. That increasing screw center distance of slider for press can improve the supporting capacity of non-axial load, but it leads to the reducing of stiffness of slider for press, which can be resolved by the thickness increasing of bottom plate of slider. Reasonable structure and screw center distance of slider not only can support heavier non-axial load, but also leads to higher precision for press, so the trouble and stop time of press are shortened. There is a significant effect of structure and screw center distance of slider for press on straight side double points and four points presses, progressive die press, multi-position press and automatic production line and precision of press.
