Abstract:

 According to the wearing of one crankshaft mold and Archard wear finite element theory applied, the orthogonal experiment was designed starting point to die fracture and failure and aiming to the influence on process parameters of die wearing. The influence of initial temperature of blank and mold, friction coefficient between workpiece and its dies, and mold hardness on forming load and mold wearing were researched by numerical simulation based on Deform. The process parameters of hot die forging forming of crankshaft were optimized. Comprehensively considering the multi-index factors, the influence of optimal technological parameters on crankshaft forming force and mold wearing was obtained, that is the initial temperature of blank is 1150 ℃, initial mold temperature is 250 ℃, coefficient of friction is 0.3, and mold hardness is 65 HRC.
