Abstract:

The test plan of key parameters for 800 MN close-die forging press designed and manufactured using Chinese initiative was briefly described.The close-die forging press was tested according to several typical conditions during debugging and trial production,and the relationship between vertical direction displacement, deformation, stress on critical parts of the press and force were obtained.The press was full tested under ultimate pressure,and the test and measurement results were basically matching with the analyzed and calculated value. According to the test results,the lifetime of key and non-replaceable parts in the press was estimated,and it is proved that the C shaped plate and other key components can achieve the requirements of infinite life.So the T&M results for 800 MN close-die forging press can provide essential technical support for normal production.
