Abstract:

Cavitation erosion is the most common fault phenomenon whose hazard is very serious for hydraulic system. Aiming at the cavitation erosion of HPP4000 hydraulic press, the flake pitting and small pit appearing in the port plate of hydraulic pump caused by cavitation erosion and the material peeling off phenomenon appearing in the plunger cylinder were analyzed. The reason of cavitation erosion was design defects of oil tank. By analyzing the inhaling empty problem, the movment sequence of this press and the design features of oil tank structure of hydraulic system, the methods of structure improvement of oil tank and drainage pipe adjustment of main pump were put forward. The practice proves that the method can play a definite role in hydraulic system design.
