Abstract:

Aimed at the problem of bad quality that vertical vibration of rolling mill affects the quality of strip, a model of F3 was established. In this model,the F3 rolling mill was simplified as weight of mass point and spring stiffness which were calculated by principle of conservation of energy. With the help of MATLAB 7.0,the natural frequency and the response of characteristic on the vertical vibration of rolling mill were analyzed. The conclusion shows that the third and sixth order of inherent frequency vibration can easily trigger self-excited vibration, and the second and fourth order of inherent frequency vertical vibration can decrease the stiffness of rolling mill, and the fifth order of inherent frequency vertical vibration can lead to the vibration ripples of white ripple alternate with the dark one. Then, the suggestions were put forward to improve the stiffness of rolling mill and avoid the inherent frequency of rolling mill.
