Abstract:

To solve the quality problem of different degree tissue segregation in large or middle-size alloy steel forgings,the corresponding measures were studied. Taking 42CrMo diesel engine link rod and 17CrNiMo6 input gear roller as research objects,the forging micro-tissue segregation was improved effectively by improving forging temperature(link rod is 1250 ℃ and input gear roller is 1280 ℃), increasing upsetting times(upsetting and stretching for three times instead of directly stretching) and keeping warm for enough time at forging temperature(link rod is 2 h and input gear roller is 2.5 h).
