Abstract:

Through the analysis of hydropost chapiter forming process, the compound die forging process scheme was proposed, which is different from the traditional round steel turning process. The forming procedure and load of two compound die forging processes were analyzed by numerical simulation method. The comprehension conparison results show that compared to the traditional tuming process,the compound die forging process has obvious advantages in material utilization ratio and product quality; the asymmetric compound die forging process is better,except for a higher equipment load is needed;punching into the blank under the condition of upper action press is easier for upper punch than the lower one and the process is also confirmed by the subsequent engineering practice.
