Abstract:

<p>In fine-blanking process of 1020 steel sheet, the contact stress variation on the sheet surface was measured by the PVDF piezoelectric film stress sensor. Two fluctuations of contact stress were detected. The first one was caused by pressing the V-ring into the sheet. The second was the result of the punch squeezing metal in the shearing zone, and the contact stress peak occurred firstly, then, the contact stress decreased monotonically. Ratio of contact stress peak in the second fluctuation to the first is within 3.0~3.7 times,and is a second-order polynomial which decreases at first and then increases with the increasing of contact stress peak in the first fluctuation.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
