Abstract:

According to the analysis of the main quality problems of drawing parts,in order to improve the rupture resistance of sheet metal, laser texturing was used to control the metal flow to improve the drawing formability of sheet metal.The laser texturing area of drawing die was suggested by the analysis of the influence of sheet metals rupture resistance and the die life with different texturing areas, combined with the experimental study of the laser textured tribological properties. The punch of drawing die should be textured in order to improve the drawing formability of sheet metal.If the die was textured,the die life might be improved,but the drawing formability of sheet metal would be decreased.The experimental results suggest that the laser textured punch can increase the thickness of the drawing parts' dangerous section and then the drawing formability of sheet metal will be increased.
