Abstract:

In the course of forging the shell of heavy pressure vessel, using the hollow steel ingot has the advantages of less segregation, higher material utilization and shorter production cycle, compared with the solid steel ingot. With the method of combining modeling and numerical simulation, the effect and influence of upsetting reduction rate and other technological parameters on the deformation law of specimen were studied in the forging process, which provides the experimental and theoretical basis for the forging process of heavy hollow steel ingot.
