Abstract:

According to the cracking phenomenon in the forging process of 316LN steel for nuclear power main pipe, with the help of metalloscope(OA), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy disperse spectroscopy(EDS), the structure in ordinary temperature and tensile fracture of cracked forging were analyzed. The result shows that the existence of brittle alumina increases the tendency of cracking in 316LN forging process.
