Abstract:

Multi-bar presses have the advantages of quick approaching workpiece, low speed drawing and demould, quick return compared with common presses. Multi-bar presses transmission system was built, and the effect of system parameters on presses slide movement were analyzed.An optimum design method was introduced that the multi-objective optimization design was carried out based on the analysis and the optimization model of our corporation's multi-bar presses STPL-500 transmission by using SCILAB genetic algorithm toolbox according to customers special requirements in the drawing slide speed. An example was given to declare the optimize effective by comparing slide stroke curves, slide speed curves, driving angle curves, and the result of preoperation before and after optimization.
