Abstract:

Firstly, based on the finite element model of hydraulic press frame structure, various ribs were determined as the optimal objectives of the press body lightweight design under ANSYS Workbench analysis. Moreover, column ribs layout was determined preliminary by orthogonal test. Then, both the thicknesses of the six ribs and the spacing of the column ribs were optimized by APDL parameters model. Finally, performance of the optimized model was verified by simulation. The results show that both the maximum displacement and the maximum stress are decreased and the weight is reduced by 1701.7kg. Hydraulic press‘s performance is improved efficiently and material is saved. It provides a theoretical basis for hydraulic press structural design.
