Abstract:

In order to meet the need of automatic control of large scale rolling machines, a mathematical model applied to the rolling techniques requirements of large-scale plate rolling technology was developed based on the geometry parameters of rolling process and mechanical properties of the plate. On this basis, taking a rolling machine as an example, the numerical control system and program of large-scale plate rolling process were researched. And combined with the practical sample, the large-scale plate rolling was finished, which validated the correctness of the model for large-scale plate rolling process. The research is not only to be used as the guidance to the project design and technological improvement of similar equipment but also provides a reliable theoretical basis for finishing the rolling process efficiently.
