Abstract:

The compressing deformation behaviors of a superalloy GH4413 at high temperature and high strain rate, which was close to the die forging process of the blade, were investigated systemically on a Glleeble-3800 simulator. The hot ductility and processing recrystallization maps were developed to result in the hot working schedules, which had been successfully applied for the practical process of the blades with the largest size in China. Anatomical examination shows that the whole blade has well-distributed structure with the fine grains, but no obvious metallurgical and processing defects, and favorable mechanical properties.
