Abstract:

Manufacturing the automobile spoke components is a multi-step stamping forming process, the round-hole flanging often cracks in the last process. The forming process of automobile spoke component was analyzed by finite element simulation software, and the influences of the round-hole flange coefficient, material parameter and forming craft on flange forming were discussed. The results show that the increasing of material yield strength has a great influence on the flange cracking. Through improving the flanging process, the cracking defects of the round- hole flanging in the spoke components were controlled, the cracking rate reduced to 0.1 ‰, and better product quality was obtained.
