Abstract:

In order to explore the factors of drive line formation on the surface shell part, sheet forming numerical simulation software dynaform was used and the forming process of the surface drawing parts model under different technology conditions was simulated. The simulation results show that fixed blank holder gap has little effect on drive line. The displacements of drive line have a shock between 12.5 and 13.5 mm when the blank holder forces (BHFs) increases. However, constant BHF has a great influence on the displacement of drive line, and a proper BHF could effectively reduce the displacement of drive line. Drawbead also impacts greatly, and its different setting ways could control the displacement and direction of drive line. Besides, the displacement of drive line will increase as the drawing depth increases. Therefore, a proper forming technology could effectively control the displacement and direction of drive line, and then improve the surface accuracy and forming quality of the products.
