Abstract:

The blanking research on high strength steel 30CrMnSiA thick plate was introduced, including conventional hot blanking, simultaneous shear-squeeze precision blanking, dual positive clearance blanking and fineblanking.The technological tests were carried out. The results show that the shearing surface is nearly of the burnishing zone for the small clearance-round edge blanking at 700 ℃, the shearing surface is all of the burnishing zone for the fine blanking, the burnishing zone is above 50% of the shearing surface for the dual positive clearance blanking. The research provides some new lights on the blanking design of high strength steel thick plate.
