Abstract:
Based on the concept of virtual enterprise, this paper gives a new mode and infrastructure of a RP/RT remote manufacturing system using the 3-tier architecture and component-develop ment method. Some key technologies about it are also studied. With this system, efficient, distributed and collaborative RP manufacturing will be possible.
