Abstract:
Forming numerical simulation is a kind of virtual manufacturing technology.This paper firstly researches the key technologies of numerical simulation of sheet metal forming.Then the optimum design technology of forming process parameters for simple drawing part is applied for an automobile structure-piece, namely windshield cross reinforcement.According to the results of numerical simulation, the boundary conditions, such as the dimensions of the blank, blank-holder force or the shape of binder surface of drawing die are modified.Finally the qualified drawn component are produced.
