Abstract:
Taking into consideration the influence of technology factors such as the carbon content of extruded metals, the hardness of slug, the relative thickness of slug and the profile of the die, according to the suggested isopiestic princi-ple, the authors present the diagram and the calculating formulae for determining the allowable degree of deformation in cold extrusion of ferrous metals.
