Abstract:
In order to find characteristics of inhomogeneous material flow in microforming, micro copper cylinders with different grain size are upsetted at room temperature. The result shows that in micro scale, inhomogeneous flow of material is obviously emerged, which is more severe with the increase of grain size and stroke.Through this study, the necessary information and guides are provided for designing the process and die for microforming and the practical application of microforming technology is pushed.
