Abstract:

The main structure parameters(including the inflow width of spread cavity ,the outflow width of spread cavity, the height of spread cavity ,the length of the fiducially working land and the flowing position settings of the aperture for the shaping of a product, which influence the distribution of the velocity of metal flow along the working land outflow side) of spread extrusion die has some influences on the value of SDV (SDV-standard deviation of the velocity in axial direction during the extrusion forming, the lower of the value, the steadier of the extrusion progress ). Furthermore, we need to know the salience degree of each parameter. As an example, using the orthogonal experiment method and based on the numerical simulation , this paper classifies these parameters of the spread extrusion die used in the production of a kind of aluminum profile whose trademark is FD-awdd-7 , and makes a conclusion that the parameters which have a significant contribution to the value of SDV include the inflow width of spread cavity , the flowing position settings of the aperture for the shaping of a product, the mutual affection between the inflow width of spread cavity and the outflow width of spread cavity.
