Abstract:
Superplastic behaviors of a micro-duplex stainless steel have been investigated using isothermal hot tensile equipment. The process parameters for superplastic forming of the duplex stainless steel are gained. The superplastic forming experiments of duplex stainless steel are carried out and two types of complex and perfect products are formed successfully. Results show that the duplex stainless steel has an excellent superplastic forming property.
