Abstract:
The study is focused on isothermal precision forming technology of rib-web forging parts.According to the typical rib-web parts,different kinds of cushion plates are designed for local loading forming.The local loading method is used to control flow direction and distance of superfluous metal of web plate to avoid the forming defects,such as overlap and underfilling,and the isothermal deformation condition is employed to improve metal filling and decrease die pressure.The experimental results show that isothermal precision forming technology with local loading is effective to control metal flow and improve forming quality of rib-web parts.
