Abstract:
The numerical simulation of drawing process for front extension to side panel is studied by using the three-dimensional sheet metal forming analysis software PAM-STAMP. In this study, the influence of different shape of addendum is analyzed in the stamping simulation. Compared with the FLD diagram and the results of deforming, the optimized shape of addendum is obtained and the economical and reasonable die construction is designed.
