Abstract:
Brass H62 is studied by ECAP (equal channel angular pressing) in this paper. After the brass specimen being subjected to ECAP, severe plastic deformations are occurred around the corner of die route and grain of brass is refined repeatedly. Furthermore, microstructure observations, hardness testing, mechanical properties testing are studied. It shows that ECAP has a remarkable impact on grain refinement, hardness and strength of brass H62.
