Abstract：

The authors forecast the development of semi-solid forming optimistically in the future based on the application actuality of it in China or abroad.Presently the technologies of thixocasting,thixoforging of aluminum alloy and injection of magnesium alloy applied in industries are available.But the bottleneck of application limit is the technique of performing.If Semi-Solid Forming makes great progress,the performing must be high efficiency,high quality and low cost.So we propose that the scholars should make new efforts under the comment "hope of Semi-Solid Forming being in China",and especially reach a new application level.
