Abstract:
Magnesium alloy is of smaller plasticity with hexagonal closed-packed crystal structure.The deformation is difficult in room temperature.But there is a higher deforming ability at high temperature.Strength and stiffness of magnesium alloy forgings are higher than those of magnesium alloy castings.In the paper,AZ61A magnesium alloy was turned up a better plasticity at 300℃ and worse plasticity under the room temperature through the upsetting compression experiment.
