Abstract:
Finite element simulation of the riveting process of semi-tubular rivet was carried out by DEFORM-2D software.Forming process of the riveting,distribution of stress and strain,and load-stroke behavior were analyzed.The influence of raised altitude of concave die and rivet material on riveted joint performance was analyzed by means of riveted joint section shape and displacement-load curve.The results show that increasing raised altitude of concave die can enhance self-locking performance of riveted joint in certain scope,and that rivet of suitable hardness is advantageous to form riveted joint of better mechanics performance.
