Abstract:
The shaft in gear-box has great varieties but of simple shape character.Its principal character is tenuous and multi-steps.According to the shape character of the shaft in gear-box,a feasible scheme was analyzed in detail by which the forging was manufactured by multistage cold precision forging.The forging could be successfully shaped by multistage cold precision forging with such advantages as higher forging quality,higher material usage ratio,higher produce efficiency and suitable for batch production.In this paper,taking the input shaft part as an example,based on ironing process knowledge,five-stage process procedure sheet was set down.The processing parameters were calculated and confirmed.The matching relation of processing parameters among every step was studied.The principle and method of design multistage cold precision die were put forward,and five-stage die of cold precision forging was designed.The process of every stage was simulated on the DEFORM-2D software and the process scheme was confirmed rightly.
