Abstract:
According to the fact,whether the shaft flange can be formed in one forming step,axle shaft sleeve was divided into two kinds: the flange approached the big end(A) and the flange far from the big end(B).The current forming methods of type B were introduced,then through the analysis,numerical simulation and physical simulation research,a new forming technology for type B was developed,which used rod billet.The main forming processes were fully enclosed die forging and combined extrusion.The factors considered in the process of design and the shape of performing and the problem that could be solved by this design were emphatically introduced.The purposes of few forming steps,high stiffness of male mould,the short equipment stroke,and so on were realized.
