Abstract:
The cup-shaped thin-walled trapezoidal inner gear spinning technology with three rollers was studied based on numerical simulation and experimental investigation.The influence of main forming parameters on the forming quality of the spun parts was discussed,such as tooth profile angle,thickness reduction,feed rate and round radii of rollers.The result shows that during trapezoidal inner gear spinning,the metal flow is related to the incline degree of the tooth profile lateral surface.The distribution of the cross-section thickness of the trapezoidal inner gear is more uniform than that of the rectangle one.With increasing the thickness reduction,feed rate and roundness radii of rollers,the relative tooth height increases.
