Abstract:

In order to study the relation between the limit-section shrinkage of one wedge in cross wedge rolling and the different mechanical parameters,the experiment under different mechanical parameters was made.During the progress of study,the limit-section shrinkage reached 97.75% without necking wrong.Then by using the software Origin,SPSS to analyze the data,the rules were found.When the forming angle α and the spacing of wedges K increase,the limit-section shrinkage decreases,when the spreading angle β increases,the limit-section shrinkage increases too,and the spreading angle β is the most important mechanical parameter to affect the limit-section shrinkage.The study result widens the limit of the cross wedge rolling,and which also gives a lot of gist to improve the design of mould.
