Abstract:

Effects of different hot rolling processes on tinplate strip surface scale microstructure were investigated.The results indicate that the thickness of the surface oxided scale is reduced from 6-13 μm to 4-7 μm for the improvement of rolling mill and the pickling quality of the strip is improved;compared MR-3 with MR-2,the MR-3 tinplate strip is coiled with the higher coiling temperature of CT 680 ℃,the thickness of the MR-3 scale is thicker,and more mixtures of Fe3O4-Fe eutectoid are formed in MR-3 scale;with lower rolling temperature,such as the finishing rough rolling temperature of RT 1010-969 ℃,the thinner scale is formed when the temperature is being reduced.
